Garden philosophy (in Hungarian)

The Garden Philosophy series was launched at the end of 2022 in the Kisdiófa Community Garden as a fusion of the idea of the community garden and the philosophical café, a revival of the community philosophical practice associated with Epicurus' garden. The Garden Philosophy is a community philosophical exercise in the form of a one and a half to two hour conversation that draws on the functioning of garden ecosystems. Conversations are usually based around a concept related to the garden, flora or nature. The topic of discussion is decided together on the spot, so that all participants can join in regardless of their background and prior knowledge. For the winter period, the Garden Philosophy will find refuge at Trafó, i.e. it will temporarily move back to the space of the café.

The discussion will be led by philosopher László Nemes.
