In the fall of 2005, Trafó and MU Theatre put together an award for the popularization and recognition of the best creators and creations in dance today. For the jury of the Rudolf Lábán Award, named after the most outstanding and revitalizing figure of twentieth century dance, a panel was selected from those who have most distinctively analyzed, interpreted, and promoted figures of the contemporary dance scene. For the 10th award ceremony Parallel Foundation prepares a special program with former winners.
