Budbudas is linked to the Trafó in many different ways: they played at the opening celebration of the Trafó and they were practically formed here and played again when we celebrated our 10th anniversary, not to mention that they recorded their debut album here, which they'll now be presenting for the first time.

We could continue the list of connections by mentioning all the times the 17 members appeared and performed here, but there's no space to indulge in this or to detail the achievements of the individual members, yet the names speak for themselves.

Why is their debut album being released after all these years? First of all, the band is basically the jamming of various colleagues and friends and all of them have appeared on plenty of other albums, locations and formations. The other reason is that they're in no rush, since music is born in the moment and the musicians are merely assisting its birth. Now, however, the time has come and the album is ripe for release – which will be available for purchase at the album launch party.

The members include a number of musicians and composers, as well as djs, vjs, visual designers, theater directors, actors, as well as a cameraman and a director. According to their own definition, their music isn't experimental, contemporary, free jazz, jazz, or hip-hop, but rather current music.
